Father we give thanks tonight
Thank you Lord for everyone connected to this expression
The glory of God rests differently when we thank him
Lets think of his mercies and give him thanks

We have not done too much spending some time thanking God
Welcome to THE OPENING NIGHT OF THE WORSHIPPERS WORD CONFERENCE
this program started in 2020, I remember that January, COVID was fresh and I had this group of friends who wanted to learn things from me and we had projects to do together so we were all in a group. PEOPLE were at home and we had almost nothing to do so i called my friends Kanyin, Paul Tomisin, Simon Orumen etc to mention a few and texted them to come teach us on our whatsapp platform and they agreed and those sessions were amazing and we taught to open it to everyone.
That's how we had 9 days of at least 3 teaching sessions everyday and people joining the group till we got to almost a thousand. we learnt so much and we were blessed that year. then the group got inactive and people left, since then, the Lord reminds me himself about this conference every January and gives us themes to dwell on.
we have dwelt on Worship Postures 1 and 2; The Ancient Landmarks (coincidentally the name of my music album this year is ANCIENT WELLS, you heard here first o, anticipate that one in September), We have touched on the Written Word; The Worshipper (that was were we dwelt on worshippers that seek, worshippers that dwell, worshippers that serve etc). Last year we dwelt on Equipped for Emergence and on the day of the grand finale the Lord told me that we will be dwelling on a part 2 of this theme in 2025.
I would have loved this conference to be hybrid, this means the last day would have been physical but last year i dont know how we did it and weren't security conscious. a man came in and took TWO PHONES. i wept in my heart greatly.
nevertheless the conference was a great blessing and i prayed for restoration and anywhere i see that man whose phones were taken i know God would have restored in multiple fold.
I am however brooding the thought of a worship meeting at a studio here in Lagos Nigeria on either Friday 17th or Saturday 18th to worship and wrap up thoughts on this theme. This would be if the Lord permits and we receive encouragements by having a number of people tell me about their interest in the meeting. the Lord will take care of that In Jesus name.
This year will be glorious!!
Tonights teaching will be brief
Tonight is Leadership Session
My Lead text is taken from Phillipians 2 verse 5
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus
A leader is one governing an assignment
so being admin on a whatsapp group and coordinating things and threatening people is not all there is to leadership. i'm not talking to anyone, if anything, i'm referring to myself (cos we locked the group this year and we had seriously scrutinize before accepting people just to avoid scammers joining)
A LEADER is a COORDINATOR of a VISION
the extension of receiving and processing the mandate of Leadership is what births the kind of clarity that men now see and opt to follow you as you follow Christ.
My Teaching is titled THIS MIND
Another version of this scripture says
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus
eventually someone running consistently on a charted course in Life will eventually begin to find himself in a position of leadership and influence over people
this version says there is a mindset with which we manage that phase
many other versions call it ATTITUDE
You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had

four points on things LEADERS MUST MIND
nothing else should take the place of God (exodus 20)
the first commandment, THOU SHALL WHAT???
have no other God besides me for una wey no sabi am
before i start hearing thou shall let the poor breathe
Minding your God is the key to doing great things
But they that know their God...
He said if you love me
you will feed my sheep
As a leader, don't spend time minding people who aren't under your supervision
don't spend time minding naysayers
mind your calling/flock/business
the bible says guard your heart for out of it comes the issue of life
your heart is important because thats where gratitude or offenses are stored
God prefers a heart of gratitude always
One time, I remembered the hurt someone had done and the holy spirit told me ' Seun, for you to remember, it means you forgot, something just triggered the remebrance, be like me and throw it back into the deep forgotten real where it was and move on with your life '
This was so profound for me
building on that word has made it easy for me to FORGIVE and Forget today.
I hope we're being blessed by this
Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
God loves a sacrificial heart that is not selfish or self centered
remember the poor widow whom Jesus discerned that she had given more than others?
God sees these things.

MIND YOUR ENVIRONMENT/ATMOSPHERE/ECOSYSTEM
He that walks with the wise shall be wise but a companion of fools shall be destroyed
i remember praying to God to culture his ecosystem for me
God answered that prayer
when you pray that God chases the wrong people or reveal bad people, God answers such prayers fast
so Fear God and Mind everything around you and be conscious to edit and audit anywhere need be.
and wait to discern peoples hearts before engaging
we must also be people with clear motives when relating to saints in the kingdom
this is an area God has helped me
