ANGELINA JUMMIE – Worship Lifestyle (2021)
The Bible says that they that must worship God must
worship him in spirit and in truth.
Man’s way of thinking is not Gods way of thinking (Isaiah
55:8). In order to worship in truth, we must know the truth, which is found in
the Bible. We must continually renew our minds to the Word of God by spending
time studying every day (Romans 12:2). When our minds are renewed to what He
says is truth (and not the world), we will be able to come to Him and worship
Him in spirit and in truth.
If you want to be a great worship leader, you have to be a great worshipper.
When no one is watching you, what are you doing?
God wants us to pursue Him passionately in our prayer
closets when no one is watching.
He wants us to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
Being a worship leader is inviting people to the space we
share with God.
If you don't share any space with God, you don't create
room for you and Jesus just like Guc's song, "All that matters", then
you might be sinning even in your singing.
Things that provoke the move of God
The way we speak is a reflection of who we are. We should
learn to speak like we are graced at all times and walk in spirit as a
worshipper, worship leader, choristers, name it. Colossians 4:6
There'd be a lot of issues if we don't fix these things
beloved.
All these are part of what provokes or brings about the
move of God in our ministrations too.
Worshippers
Your attitude during the worship matters a lot too. Let
there be an heartfelt worship. Sing like you really mean it! Sing from within.
Focus on Jesus and don't be distracted. You can't give what you don't have
yourself that's why you must hide yourself in the secret place of God. Pray and
fast! Not only because you have a ministration, do it because you want to
become fully like God and out of your love for God. Have time for God.
Before any ministration, ask God, what do you have me do
for this meeting? Let him guide and lead you. Don't go and sing without Him!
Trust me, the outcome will be heavenly.
The Lord will even put words in your mouth, tell you what
to do or say. I'm a living witness of this. God speaks and still leads His
people.
We just need to press Deeper like Seun Dede's song and
stay in His presence! Don't go to God because you need something for him alone.
Study the word to show yourself approved
Study the bible too, don't be too familiar with God and
the things of God. Always watch and pray!
If you immerse yourself in scriptures, powerful words
come out of your mouth unrehearsed and touch lives.
And God reveals when you study His word!
Be humble
Don't let praises of men get into your head, don't be
satisfied where you are and feel you've arrived because people are already
using ma for you and all. There is a lot more the Lord will use you for and you
won't get there with pride. Stay far away from pride! God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. Be humble,
teachable, approachable and also always remember that standing on the stage is
a privilege for you. If you're struggling with pride or anything that is not
like God. Ask God for the grace to be humble and to deal with whatever thing it
may be.
Riffs and runs
Simplicity is key when ministering too. Riffs and runs
are good, I'm not saying we shouldn't add it when singing but I personally have
something to say about it which is that it's very good when you use it for
competition. You need less of that and more of the holy spirit at work when
you're leading people in worship. Some people use these riffs and runs to just
show off, to show people how skillful they're which shouldn't be our motive
alone. Our focus should always be Jesus. I know there are some people who do
this not to show off. The bottom line is that whatever we are doing, let us do
it to the glory of God.
Be prepared for any ministration
Know your convenient key too, please we shouldn't be
rehearsing on stage.
Here are some things you need to know
How is your timing? How is your pitch? Tone? Practice all
this so-as to not be a distraction to your congregation. I'm still a work in
progress too, so when I see people who are really skillful and I can learn
from, I get closer to them so I can learn, we shouldn't let pride or any
hinderance set in and make us to miss something tangible from the people we
ought to be learning from.
How this works for me?
Often time what I
do again is to rehearse a lot at home and then send my songs to friends that I
know plays any instrument so I can know my key and all. It helps me prepare cus
it's not all the time we get to rehearse physically. But I've learnt to
communicate. Communication is key.
Let me rush now
I'd briefly talk about dwelling in His secret place. It's
a bit long read.
Please read and pray too
Dwell in His secret place
Dwell in the secret place, which simply means to seek
Him; draw near to Him. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all
your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
Dwelling in the secret place, is our quiet time of
prayer. We are to pray daily. Mathew 7:7-8. We shouldn't just go to God only
when we have ministrations or when we need something from him. We should learn
to stay in His presence, dwell in there and also wait for His response as you
ask. That's what a person who is hungry and thirsty will do. For as the deer
pants for water that's how your soul should long for God. Psalm 42:1-2.
Your desire should be to know and love Him more as you
hide yourself in His secret place.
The Bible also says that there's a friend who sticks
closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:21
Guess who?
It's Jesus! Build a relationship with him.
Building a relationship with God shouldn't be hard.
You know why? The same way you want to get closer to a
new friend you meet because you probably like him/her (not talking about dating
now) is the same way you should be able to press Deeper into knowing God and
building a relationship with Him.
You can agree with me that we all talk to our friends at
least 5 times in a week but many of us don't see anything wrong in not talking
to God for a week, which is really wrong. Some of us even get angry at our
friends when they don't talk to us in a week.
Have you thought about how God will feel when you don't talk to him too?
When you don't try to get close to him but it's just your friends. He's a
jealous God! God wants you to come to Him with all your heart. Surrendering
your life totally to Him. Don't go a day without talking to your friend (Jesus)
He loves you.
God is the true friend who sticks closer than a brother,
when some problems come, your friends cannot even help you but Jesus is with
you and He's willing and able to help you anytime any day because he sticks
closer than a brother.
I urge everyone us to run to Jesus who sticks closer than
a brother.
If you just read this and you know in your heart that
Jesus isn't as close to you as He ought to be or you need more of Him.
Take this prayer for some minutes.
Father, help me to seek you daily, take me deeper and
deeper, show me more of you, reveal yourself to me, I surrender all to you
Jesus.
Father anything that is not making me to consistently seek your face, uproot it

Worship in itself isnt
really about the song or the voice.
you can have the voice that
makes people feel some type of way atm cos even secular artistes can do it in
such a way that they have their own secret place in flesh and they still end up
blessing your flesh, you think you're being moved but what you're actually
being moved to, its the results that prove what you're being led to.
if any ones worship does not
bring you closer to God then the formula is wrong somewhere,
the devil has so much
decieved christians that we've limited the power of worship to melody when its
just an a form.
1 sam 16 : 16 saul was
rejected as king and the evil spirit from the Lord came to torment him
when david played, it wasnt
really in the song, it was skill + secret place that was combined. to drive the
spirit away.
what understanding is your
worship based on? is it on the fact that the music must be good and right
temperature? or what God has done? or on conditions? many of us have turned
worship into a contract.
whenever you lift up your
voice to sing, your secret place is open to all in the spirit, even demons.
there's nothing hidden in the spiritual realm. thats why two people can sing
the same song and there's a difference
it was not the playing in
the palace but the relationship built in the forest, that could drive the evil
spirit out
why do we wake up every
morning and identify as christians? Your understanding for God, your reason for
worship has to go deeper by the day.
here's why, scripture says
we see in parts, we prophesy in parts, so whatever understanding you have of
God now is only limited to the time you have experienced with him so far and
for every revelation you've discovered about God there is a counter darkness
the devil is ready to use to pervert it, so your understanding of God presently
cannot sustain you for a period before the devil finds something that has a
form of godliness but denies the power thereof to use to leasd you astray.
As the mercies of God are on
a daily subscription, you have to dig deeper,that your search for him must know
no end.
christians bask so much and get comfy in their revelation of God per
time and this is what opens them up to the devils perverted counter revelation,
the devil can pervert scriptures
thats why they say the
weapon is fashioned ,.. its suited to your style
the holy was telling me
sometime ago, that what you're saying is not what you mean
they worship me with their
mouths but their hearts are far away from me
we know how to sound so bold
in theory till the practical hits us
Man is designed to worship
and God designed us to worship he left
the choice of who or what we should worship with us
the reason why a number of
us try to play at the shallow part of the waters of worship is because we want
something that we can control.
we dont want to get too
deep, to spiritual cos of what people might say
you'll be amazed at how
broken and distorted our your understanding is if you actually allow God search
the reason for your worship
David said search me oh
Lord, if any iniquity...
there is iniquity, sometimes
in our worship, sometimes our worship is based on materialism, our worship has
been perverted.
you musnt be comfortable
with what you know if all you know is all you knew when you identified with the
life of christ
because whatever u know is
only part, worship is life.
worship is stepping out of
the centre of your life and letting God take charge, the devil is okay not
being in total charge, he only wants a part because he knows enough to make you
shift away from the image of God
Worship gets dangerous when
you admit that you need God.
The fallen nature shifted
man to the centre of worship.
The Flesh and the devil
compete with mans worship to God
When the devil took Jesus to
the high mountain, he did not ask Jesus to pray, he asked Jesus to bow.
Worship is translated in
hebrew as Latreaia meaning to bend which means you esteem someone elses will
above yours.

proof that we're not just doing worship for the sake of being known but for His

Worship for me is a more
intimate form of praising God. Worship explains the level of our relationship
with God in songs which births out revelations
Worship is a lifestyle
It's a state of our heart
just like what our sister shared with us yesterday
The only thing we will be
doing when we get to heaven is worshipping the father. It's Important for us to
inculcate the art and science of it while on earth
When we want to prepare a good meal, it takes
us great deal of time to make
How much more the God in us.
Worship is really important
because it's his will that we should

As ministers, musicians etc.
We must be intentional about the excellency of cooking God's food through
arsenals of scoring and making ourselves abreast with knowing a lot of worship
songs.
Sister Kanyinsola talked
about being spontaneous with how we worship.
It comes out of we
understanding that those songs we've scored or listen to are tools or arsenal
of spiritual battles
The spirit of God in is will
quicken us and we begin to flow in grace and light
Worship is very important
for our love walk with him
It honors God's greatness
when we are able to magnify God and focus on his goodness in spite of our
personal challenges. Through this
practice, we testify that God is greater than all.
Although our primary purpose
for and worshipping God should be because He is worthy, there are often
kindnesses bestowed upon those who participate in this expression of love. Some
of these include the following:
More intimate connection
with God
- Stress relief as we focus on the greatness of God versus personal challenges
- Believers experience the
presence of God which may result in limitless favor (Encouragement, healing,
deliverance, peace, joy, provision, etc.)
- Fulfillment of personal
desires
In conclusion, our worship
is a response to God's love on us

Worshippers that Know!
And there are many things and scriptures through
which we can emphasize that text but ¡’ll do my best to just keep it within a
frame.

Many things will connote or describe the word
KNOW. But when we speak about worshippers that know, Ill like to invite us to
examine a conversation that took place in John 4
John 4:21-24 please
John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe
me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at
Jerusalem, worship the Father. 4:22 Ye
worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the
Jews. 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now
is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:
for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in
spirit and in truth.
Here in this scripture John 4. Jesus is speaking
to a woman or as we all know her, the woman at the well.
And she ¡s in a conversation with Jesus speaking
to him on the basis of elements of worship that she is not only familiar and
conversant with, but that she also practices.
She tells him about the Patriarch Abraham, about
the mountain upon which the elders worshipped and also about the worship in
Jerusalem which she thought that Jesus as a Jew must have practiced.
However. Jesus gives a shocking response to her.
But before we examine the answer or response from
Jesus. We must take note of this woman and understand that she was clearly
according to what was obtainable in her day a worshipper She KNEW everything
pertaining to worship.
So sometimes the danger in worshippers that KNOW
is that what they know might be obsolete, old or about to be done away with.
This was Jesus right in front of her and she was
trying to tell him what she knows about worship.
How do you tell the one who initiates worship
about worship.
That ¡s why a Worshipper that truly knows, knows
that his call is to re-echo and re-present what the spirit of God is saying
(truth).
His call is not to say what he knows as it were.
Or what he thinks.
A worshipper can be likened to an amplifier; it
doesnt produce sound of itself. It only re-echoes the sound that is given to
it.

out that Jesus told her here in verse 21-24.
That a time is coming when the mountain not
Jerusalem will no longer matter.
And then he said to her that a time is also
coming and now is when the True Worshippers will only worship in 2 postures
(SPIRIT & TRUTH).
The worship the woman knew was worship that
stemmed from PLACES. But Jesus spoke to her about worship that stems from
POSTURES.
A TRUE WORSHIPPER THAT KNOWS, knows that True
worship stems from Postures of the indwelling of the spirit and the declaration
of truth that comes from that spirit.
The problem with worship that stems from PLACES
instead of postures is that when you climb a mountain to worship God, the feat
of climbing a mountain will make you feel like you’ve ¡°done something big¡± or
if you have to travel to Jerusalem to worship, the money you spend will make
you feel like you¡¯ve done a lot.
So, many people will climb the mountain or travel
to Jerusalem with hearts that aren¡¯t soaked in truth and that are full of
falsehood hereby making their worship false. But they didn¡¯t know or pay
attention to it because of what they had to do ¡°in the flesh¡± to get to the
¡°PLACE of worship¡±
Worship from the POSTURE OF SPIRIT & TRUTH
however has nothing to do with the worshippers works or endeavors in the flesh.
That kind of worship comes from a place that is beyond the worshipper.
It's focus is on the one who has found a vessel
worthy to put his worship in!
So why did
Jesus use 2 seemingly contradicting statements in his reply ?
He said A TIME IS COMING and NOW IS
He however then said and NOW IS.
Because he knew that you and I will stumble on that conversation one day and he didnt want us to think that the time is still coming.
The time is still coming was for that woman and that day, and now is, is for you and I. Because by the time we stumbled on that conversation. Both the spirit and the culmination of all truth had been perfected.
In fact, when Jesus was promising the coming of
the Holy Spirit in John 16:12, He described him as the Spirit of Truth who will GUIDE US INTO ALL TRUTH
Hallelujah!
Are we together so far ?
So lets look at 2 more scriptures to tie it together.
Ephesians 1:18

For this
cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
So here in Eph
1:18 Paul is praying for the church and the prayer is simple.
He said so that you may KNOW
Know what exactly? The hope of his calling and the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
But its clear that the reason we pray for the eyes
of our understanding to be opened is so that we may KNOW!
Worshippers
that know, know that KNOWING is our heritage and inheritance, NOTHING is
supposed to remain a mystery forever.
Dont joke with it.
I'm Sorry Im not talking about singing. I
believe Im speaking to worshippers tonight and not singers.
Now. Finally here. Paul prays another prayer and
makes it loud.
And then he said also the reason he prayed what
he prayed.
Paul prayed this prayer here and the essence of
it was in verse 18. He said its so that you may COMPREHEND.
Paul had written 9 books and was still declaring that I may know him. That must challenge you to know that worshippers that
Know, keep being drilled all the more with hunger to know more.
What people get to see or benefit from is the result of the mingling of the secret place.
The man that will know will spend time
Will give himself to and devote his life to
seeking!

I won't take too much time ¡'ll share one or two
scriptures
I want to talk about us seeing the work of the
Ministry as His ministry
The word for ministry is diakonia in the Greek
It reveals servitude or being a servant
We are actually stewards of the ministry of Jesus
Christ.
He didn't ask us to start a new one, He said to
continue to do His ministry
Jesus came to not just give us access to the
Father but also give the Father access to us and men
Jesus came to
1. Reveal the nature and character of God -
Hebrew 1:1-3
2. Authenticate the reality the it is possible to
be God and man at the same time - Colossians 2:9
3. To show men how men out to be - Romans 8:29
We must also understand that there is a way to
serve
Imagine going to a restaurant and as you sat
without ordering anything
Someone came to you and just dropped food before
you and asked you to eat and pay
I'm sure that's going to be weird
When you
go to a restaurant, you order or ask for what you want and they serve you
Same with
God. You cannot serve God anything you like
There is a way
Romans 12:1 says we present ourselves not our gifts or talents or abilities. Nope. He asked for us
Nothing
you give God makes sense of the giver is not given to God
And so we
must understand that We being called is a responsibility and an investment
THE SPIRIT
OF God IN A MAN IS AN INVESTMENT
This is
something that everyone must understand
The spirit
of God in a man is an investment
Jesus told
us a parable in Matthew 25:14-30 about the Talent or minas
He was revealing the way God sees stuff to us
He said a man went to a far land and gave some
folks talents
That's revealing him because Ephesians 4:10 says
the same that ascended is the same that descended and gave gifts to men.
Then he further says
He gave one 5 talents, another 2 and another 1
Now, let's try to have a context for this story
A talent is a currency, an Egyptian currency
actually. It was equal to 6,000 denarii weighing about 80 pounds or 36kg. A
single talent alone was worth someone's 16 years labour
So what Jesus was trying to reveal was a huge
investment
If I give you something expensive to invest as
your master, it shows I trust you or I know your capability or even both
This is the context of this parable
I said that so we can understand very well what
I'm saying
Matthew 25:14-30
14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man
travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto
them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another
two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and
straightway took his journey.
16 Then he that had received the five talents
went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also
gained other two.
18 But he that had received one went and digged
in the earth, and hid his Lord's money.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants
cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20 And so he that had received five talents came
and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five
talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good
and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make
thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 He also that had received two talents came and
said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two
other talents beside them.
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and
faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee
ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24 Then he which had received the one talent came
and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast
not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent
in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou
wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and
gather where I have not strawed:
27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money
to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with
usury.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give
it unto him which hath ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given,
and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away
even that which he hath.
30and cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer
darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
WHAT TO DEDUCE FROM THE PARABLE
- In verse 14 , Jesus is the man traveling into a
far country and we are the servants and the goods he gave us was the goodness,
the gospel
- In verse 15, talent there is minas or money
according to capacity. God does not judge by quantity but by stewardship ship
of what he gave you. No room for comparison.
- Verse 24 - 25 shows that he had a wrong
revelation of the master, he knew God by assumption.
- Verse 28 shows us a kingdom principle - if you
say you do not have health, that which you have will be taken. Only those that
see that they have can have more.
- Verse 30 shows us that people do not go to hell
because of things they did but for things they didn't do. Judgment is on the
premise of purpose e.g IF JESUS HAD LIVED HIS LIFE DOING MIRACLES AND DIED HOLY
WITHOUT SIN, HE WOULD HAVE STILL BEEN A FAILURE, HE WAS SUCCESSFUL BECAUSE HE
DIED AS SIN BECAUSE THAT WAS WHAT HE WAS SUPPOSE TO DO.
Your destiny is in your hands. God gives you the
material, you sow your cloths.
Destiny simply means destination. God tells you
the destination gives you his word as the map and the spirit as the vehicle
ensure you get to the Destination. The Holy Spirit is like the driver that
knows where you're going even if you don't know because he lives there and came
from there to pick you. NOT FOLLOWING THE LEADERSHIP OF THE SPIRIT IS COMING
DOWN FROM THE CAR OF A DRIVER THAT KNOWS THE WAY FOR YOU TO WANDER TO FIND THE
WAY TO A PLACE THAT YOU DONT KNOW YOURSELF. This is what is called Foolishness
actually. It¡¯s fighting with reality
for example, imagine me fighting with the reality that ¡'m a guy.
God tells you where to Go but the choice is up to
you
To do nothing is to work inquiry
Now, since I brought up the purpose talk I think
it's important for me to say something here
When we talk about purpose, so many times, some
people have the position of seeing purpose as something you need to look for or
discover.
actually, the purpose for every christian is to
be led by the spirirt because the spirit of God will only lead you in that
purpose for which you were created
so being a success in life is the ability to
yield your members to the Lord.
for example, the purpose for the guitar is to be
strummed, it can also be placed as a decoration somewhere
this purpose cannot be done by the acoustic
guitar, the purpose is in the guitar, the purpose for the guitar can only be
carried out by the person who made or bought the acoustic guitar
Purpose is intrinsically or inherently defined by
the maker or owner or possesor
If we are to live purpose, it means purpose is in
us, God is the one to do our purpose through us
so in purpose, the idea is yielding more than doing, a good christian who will live purpose, must be listening more than he is thinking.
I also want to say some things
1. Ministry is a family thing
God is not owing you a reward, he's not owing you
a wage or salary. He is your inheritance!
Having Him is receiving your inheritance.
Remember, Jesus died. When He died, What Jesus willed to you was God!!
2. Understand that ministry if is a family, we
must see God has Daddy
How do I know if I see God as daddy?
1. How I see other Christians. If I don¡¯t see the brethren as real a
brother and a sister to me as my biological siblings, then the revelation of
God as a father as not gotten in
2. How I handle the work of God
We just ensure that we don't have an entitlement
mentality. We must see the work of God as our inheritance and thy ministry
you're running is your portion of the inheritance. See to it that you
understand that you have a goodly heritage and that your lines have fallen unto
pleasant places.
A bastard is not someone without a father, a
bastard is someone that doesn't know who is father is or doesnt act as a son
in his fathers Household or busines. John 4:34
3. Doing the word
We know that Romans 15:4 says scriptures were
given for our learning. We must ensure that we understand that the word of God
doesnt Jesus reveal God to us, but reveals the capacity that is already in
us. What Jesus did, we can do because the same spirit is in us. I¡¯m sure we
all know that. But do we really understand that BEING Jesus is what ACTIVATES
DOING LIKE JESUS.
YOU HAVE TO BE TO DO
SO AS HE IS SO ARE WE ON EARTH IS NOT JUST FOR
MIRACLES, it¡¯s also CHARACTER
LOVE LIKE JESUS, BE ACCESSIBLE LIKE JESUS
GIVE LIKE JESUS
HELP LIKE JESUS

- Not to
have a prayer life is to permit your heart to be a den for thieves.
1 Cor 3.16 Don't you know that you yourselves are
God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst?

Matthew 21.12 Jesus entered the temple courts and
drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of
the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.

Daniel 6: 10 Now when Daniel learned that the
decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows
opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed,
giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.
Note: Daniel was busy, a politician and an administrator and yet he had
time to read and also to pray. Daniel stands as a monument against people in
public office that say their too busy. Babylon was world power. You¡¯re not
busy, youre not just interested.
- Angelic visitations happen as we pray.
Acts 10:30: "And Cornelius said, Four days
ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house,
and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,"
Angels intervene for Peter when prayer was
offered.
Dan 10 an angel appeared because Daniel was
praying
Angels minister for us. Heb 1:14: "Are
they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be
heirs of salvation?"
- You cannot constantly flow in the supernatural
without a prayer life
Acts 3.1 One day Peter and John were going up to
the temple at the time of prayer¡ªat three in the afternoon.
prayer does not make the gifts of the spirit
available but activated. We don¡¯t earn them in prayer because they are gifts
of the spirit. The evidence we received them is in using them.
- God designed prayers as one of the greatest
tools to activate your faith because that¡¯s where you hear (Romans 10:17). If
you prayed about it God is expecting you to be expecting it which is faith.

and Caleb were the only ones to enter
the promise land because they believed the word. Thy enter not by works or
fighting but by believing
- We receive direction and wisdom by praying and
studying the word - David enquirer of the lord to pursue and
overtake, Jehoshaphat prayed to receive strategy for warfare in 2 Chronicles 20

So the way to be humble is to depend on Him. To

So I'll just quickly talk about the heart posture
I'll site a few examples. The heart posture just talks about the state of your heart whilst you worship
Like we all know, Christ isn't concerned about the acts but the heart yh?
Remember when
Jesus was rebuking those folks that used to stand by the road side and pray and
all

just trying to let you know that when we worship he's more concerned about your
heart voice than your mouth voice
He needs your
sincerity
Your purity
in words
Now I'm
teaching this with more referral to when you worship in your personal space
Have we all heard that thing where you are worshipping on your own
then you're singing a song because you think thats what you love then you
realized that you're bored,
the thing about personal worship is, you realize that its not really
about singing popular songs,
its in your heart, the pain the troubles etc just the adoration
what some of us often do is try to recreate experiences, so we went
out there and sang a song and everywhere scattered, and we came back into
personal space and are trying to recreate that.
The heart posture majorly just talks about sincerity and not just
words coming out
when you say great are you Lord, can you see the depth
when your mind begins to quantify these things it
keeps your heart humble
it makes you realize that when you worship its
father to son, father to baby, not father to soldier.
Then there's
the case were we want to sing what we think is right
Let's take
for example, the people that went to play music at the wall of Jericho
When God gave them the instruction, they most
likely didnt go there for war chants and singing JEricho whall fall down
A present day christian music minister, if God
tells you that where you're going the blind will be healed, we'll quickly
compose a song on blind being healed or sing a song in that line.
so God gives us a hint, and we go there telling
God what to do.
They most likely sang praises at the wall of
jericho.
When your heart really connects, you;ll see that
he's way powerful than whatever you want or ask, whats not left to do is adore.
because he keeps you in awe of how grreat he is
but he still fellowships with you, so its not about singing the reigning song,
its about singing the heart of God.
So when your heart posture is right, technically
what comes from your heart comes from a place of sincerity, if you want to
worship and you're broken, be vulnerable, even if you're leading people, its
not a time to show that you're deep and stuff.
and if you sense rejoicing, even if you had a
sober worship line up, you obey
as the Lord communicates, that is what you do
and we study we grow,
God said come up hither
when you're broken talk to daddy, but we should
Grow.
Know the heart of the father via the study of
scriptures

Worship Postures: Worship is an act of devotion usually directed towards God. It's more about the fact that you recognise that he's supreme. It can be performed either collectively or individually.
Worship is a
show of adoration to God. it's an
extreme love for him
Proskuneo (to worship) which means to bow down.
Now, here is
one thing you need to know!
Worship is not
a slow song that the choir sings or that you lead, neither it's the amount of
offering you put inside the offering basket. Worship is not volunteering in
children church, Yes!!!!!!
I need you to
understand this very well!
So don't be decieved.
True worship
is a matter of seriouseness to God and in holiness.
Another thing
I'll like you to note!
NOTE:If your lifestyle does not Express the beauty of holiness through extravagant or exaggerated love for God, and you do not live in the extreme or excessive submission to God, then I invite you to make worship a non-negotiable priority in your life.
The scripture
says: everyone who must come to God must come believe that's he is !!!!!!!
So, If you're a worship leader here, or you're interested in worshiping God even better.
You need to be extreme!
I mean, it has to be intentional

God's unimaginable generosity towards us, God, in all of his glory and honor
and Majesty chose to respond to us through our worship.
When we worship in truth and in extreme submission to who he is, he'll come down and commune with us!

But the LORD
is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.

When we
worship God, he inspect our hearts first. We lift up our feeble hands and weak
voices, they're worthless if our hearts are not right with him.
The truth about the promise of worship is that -we can be transformed into God's likeness because he will reveal the truth about the condition of our hearts as we worship.
That's why it's possible that you're remainder of the bad things you've done or you've not settle with your neighbor as you lift up your hands in worship,
