 I celebrate the convener of this platform, minister Seun Dede. Thank you for the privilege Sir.

I will be speaking briefly on The Power of Intimacy with God

Psalms 17:3

Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
As New Testament believers, we understand that Salvation is man partaking of God’s life.  In order words, you are of God (i.e saved) because God indwells you.
Despite this reality of God indwelling us, God still visits us.

Intimacy with the Lord is deeper than we have thought. 

Intimacy with the Lord is not prayer, fasting, worship or bible study. These are means of achieving intimacy with the Lord.
A major sign of spiritual maturity is in the level of one’s intimacy with the Lord
Are you aware, the easiest way to trace God’s voice in any situation at any point in your life is through your intimate walk with the Lord.
If you know God intimately, you can hear him on every matter without him speaking

God takes yielded men on journeys of intimacy. 

Intimacy with the Lord will take you deeper than the realm of “What can I do for God” to “What does God want me to do”

These are two different things. The former is based on zeal, the latter is based on alignment.
Spiritual alignment is what drives kingdom advancement and it is a byproduct of intimacy with God.

Look at this scripture;

1 Peter 2:11

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
The interpretation of this scripture is “I am not of this world”

What I am trying to say is that;

God has a plan for every man in this kingdom, and these plan is complemented by an array of divine dealings”
These dealings are what will transform the man, making him a worthy vessel for the execution of God’s plan for his life.

Destiny fulfillment will not be your reality if you are not intimate with God.

This is so because, you will be exempted from many dealings designed to furnish you
Only men in God’s process, will eventually emerge.

Intimacy with the Lord can be engineered by a devoted prayer life but it is deeper your moments of prayer. 

Your consistent prayers and fellowship with God is suppose to enroll you in God’s school of divine dealings.
Do you know what it means for God to control a life?

Listen to me tonight as I round off;

I studied the life of Apostle Paul and I found out he had 3 major phases of his life.

Each of these phases led to his emergence/destiny fulfillment. 

The first phase was the phase of his Salvation experience, it was initiated by the sovereignty of God. But the remaining two phases was a function of his ability to align with God in the Spirit(Intimacy).
There are many seasons you will miss in God if you are not intimate with him.
The biggest platform in your life should be the platform of your private devotion with God, that is what fuels intimacy with God.

May God bless our hearts and help us walk with him intimately. Amen

  Father, as we go into your word tonight, teach my fingers to speak your words, endow this lips of clay with your divine words that hearts may be touch and lives transformed I've seen by experience that the word of the Lord grows in the heart of believers by emphasis. There is progression in the word of God and as the Word of God is being taught, it brings Revelation to the heart of the man that hears it.
